EastCast Radio session now live!

First of all, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came down to our ‘Mass Trespass’ EP launch at the Betsey Trotwood on Friday – and in particular to the marvellous Andrew Butler and Lazy Heart Parade, who kicked the evening off and were both brilliant! We had a wonderful, wonderful night and all agreed that it was the most fun we’ve ever had playing live. So we’ll be looking to recreate the experience at the Boogaloo on 10th August – hope you can make it, particularly if you weren’t able to make the launch!

In the meantime, we did an interview and session with the lovely folks at EastCast Radio in east London recently – it was broadcast this morning, and you can hear it again here: http://eastcastshow.com/2014/07/28/studio-interview-live-session-with-ringlefinch!

Finally, we’ve updated the Photos section of the site, including some fantastic shots of the ‘Mass Trespass’ recording session by Liat Wicks (who did the ‘Mass Trespass’ cover photos), and some brilliant promo photos by Uli Kilian from January this year. Hope you enjoy!

Our debut EP ‘Mass Trespass’ is now available!

We’re thrilled to say that our debut EP ‘Mass Trespass’ is now available on CD and digitally!

‘Mass Trespass’ was recorded in North London’s seminal Crypt Studtios and was produced by BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-nominee (and all-round top chap) Ben Walker. It’s been a big old labour of love, spanning the full range of our musical reach, and we sincerely hope you enjoy it!

‘Mass Trespass’ was named for a famous protest in 1932 on Kinder Scout, a mountain in the Peak District in northern England, which helped to establish the right to roam across open land in England & Wales. Ringlefinch singer Andy grew up in the village below, and was raised on stories of the courage of the hundreds of people who defied landowers and police, trespassing across the moors for their belief that we all have a right to the wilderness. ‘Mass Trespass’ is a tribute to, and a celebration of, pushing back the boundaries.

You can order ‘Mass Trespass’ on CD securely through PayPal here:

You can also buy ‘Mass Trespass’ digitally below, or through iTunes, Amazon, etc.
