New shows, new cities, new music…

Happy Valentine’s Day, dear reader!

OK, it’s been a little while since we said “Hello!”, but don’t think that means we don’t love you any more… Behind the scenes we’ve been hard at work on the album – writing, arranging, recording, and building a recording studio(!) – and things are shaping up very excitingly! Here’s a snap of William hard at work at our most recent recording session last weekend:

Recording - William!

We’re going to be debuting some of our new material over the next couple of months, and we’ve got some great gigs coming up that we’d love to see you at – including our first ever show in Brighton!

Wednesday 11th AprilFolkroom London at The Harrison, Kings Cross, London (with Jelly Cleaver, Nick Dudek and Matthew Shepherd)
Thursday 12th AprilFolkroom by Sea Brighton at The Village, Brighton (with Martha Bailey and others TBC)
Sunday 13th May (afternoon gig) – Softly Softly at Kiss The Sky, Crouch End

Finally, we were going through the archives recently and stumbled across a gem of a live video from the Magic Garden in Battersea of us performing Nick Edward Harris’ atmospheric classic ‘Angra Mainyu’ with our good friend Emily Mae Winters. Enjoy!
