Looking back, looking forward…

Hope that January is treating you kindly? After a fairly epic New Year, we’ve been taking stock of some of the great things that happened in Ringlefinch-land last year, and we’ve come to the conclusion that 2014 was pretty gosh-darned amazing! Highlights included recording our debut EP ‘Mass Trespass’ with the incomparably talented Ben Walker; sharing a stage with Charles Darwin at the Natural History Museum; making our first proper music video for ‘Drink Alone’; eight shows in three days when we blitzed the Edinburgh Festival; our self-produced Christmas single; and most of all, seeing some of the finest musicians and meeting some of the loveliest people in the whole damn world! Yes, this means you.

Having played almost 50 gigs in the last year and a half, we’re gonna take a little break from playing live for a month or two. We’ll use this to work on some new material, to look into touring outside London, and also to allow Andy to recover from a hand injury. We’ll see you in the spring with some new songs!

Much love,
